He may have Caught in the Act: Promiscuous Sex Life of My D-Cup Mother in law (2025)left his post as White House press secretary, but Sean Spicer's future is, inexplicably, bright. The former and likely current Trump stan appeared at the 69th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards Sunday night to declare its audience the largest Emmys crowd ever -- a direct nod to when he said as much about the crowd at Trump's inauguration.
Spicer's cameo came out of a conversation with Stephen Colbert and his executive producer, according to The Hollywood Reporter, and Spicer, who sometimes finds stuff funny, agreed to it.

“It’s an honor,” he told THRof his involvement with the Emmys. “I have a lot of respect for folks who do what they do in film and on television, so it’s a real honor to be invited.”
Spicer was hyper-focused on having to use a mobile podium for the first time (the wheeled version belongs exclusively to his Melissa McCarthy counterpart), so much so that it didn't occur to him or apparently anyone else that the appearance wouldn't go over too well.
