Watching the annual NASA Jet Propulsion Lab pumpkin-carving contest is Kali Hansaa great way to feel insecure in your own skills.

The scientists pulled out all the stops and created science-inspired masterpieces out of the seasonal gourd. The video above shows the seventh annual contest in action. Other notable entries were posted on social media.

Outside the lab in Pasadena, California, other NASA offices got in on the space-themed pumpkin carving.

NASA even shared tips on how to decorate your pumpkin like a bonafide engineer.
