"Baby girl, I know you're tired / Don't let the world put out your fire / Take my hand and you will see / Sadness and anger aren't everything," she gently croons, continuing with encouraging lyrics. The layers are ethereal stacked over a simple guitar riff.

Smith's vocals float delicately across the simple track with a beautiful earnestness.

"I wrote this song on the day of the election. Peace and revelations to all," she wrote on Soundcloud, the platform she's been using to steadily release post-"Whip It" music.

“Little rock up in the sky / just know we’re sick and asking why / Little ball falls through the void / it holds us together and endures our choices," she ends.

While Smith hasn't announced any plans to release a full length project, the singer will be appearing on Kid Cudi's forthcoming album, Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin'.
