NBA star Jimmy Butler was recently traded from the Chicago Bulls to the Minnesota Timberwolves,Lisa Ann - Sexual Intrigue (2008) which prompted some nitpicking and criticism. Can a team really win bigwith Butler? Is Butler a good guy to have in the locker room? That sort of thing.

So in a press conference Thursday, Butler gave his critics a special treat. That treat? His phone number, in case they'd like to have a personal conversation.

But was he being honest?

We tried calling that number (773-899-6071) and got a Verizon message saying the call could not be completed. Other folks who tried a little earlier, however, reported being sent to a voicemail that did appear to be from Butler himself.

And Butler shared an Instagram video of himself apparently having a FaceTime conversation with a fan.

But he apparently wasn't as good about responding to texts -- although fans did send him some pretty hilarious messages.
